FAQ
1. What's the first thing I should do?

Teachers:
Register with Click-a-Teacher. It's fast, easy, and free.
Navigate to the Class Index . There you'll see the list of class categories.
Select the category that best fits your proposed class and click "Add Entry."
Fill in the form to set up your specific teacher/class description.
Upload your images, icons, and anything else you would like.
After you submit the entry, you will have to wait for an approval. This is to help maintain the overall integrity of the site.
If you haven't received an approval within 24 hours, use the contact form to let us know. We'll do an inquiry and provide you an answer.
Once your entry has been approved, you will receive an email with your LMS login ID. The LMS is where you set up your class.
You will have the option to allow students to take the course free of charge or for a fee. You will need to make your own arrangements for receipt of funds. We do not handle this. If you decide to charge a fee, you can distribute Passkeys to the students that have paid. This will help you keep account of your students. You will find that these are all options within your LMS account.
Check the Community forum for more on the many possibilities that you possess as a Click-a-Teacher instructor.

Yes. Click-a-Teacher is for everyone over the age of 13. If you are younger than 13, you must use a parent or guardian to assist you.

4. Can I email the instructor my questions?

Yes, you can contact an instructor at anytime using their listed contact information.

5. Do I get a "grade" for a class?

Yes, if the educator has created the course to offer grading. Some classes are simply offered as an automatic course. This means that the course is set to be used as-is with no live interaction. This is similar to the wiki feature or library. All coursework, test/quizzes, attendance, and class participation may be recorded and graded by your instructor. Again, this will be entirely up to your instructor.

6. Do I have to pay for an online course?

It all depends on what the instructor requires. Some courses have a course fee. This fee is between the teacher and the student. Click-a-Teacher does not collect or arbitrate financial matters relating to fees for services between students and educators. However, if we receive a report that an educator is misrepresenting their services or defrauding students, we will investigate the matter and may choose to disable the instructor's privileges.

13. What does it mean by "instructor-led"?

This phrase means that an "instructor", a "live" person and not a computer, is putting up all classroom content. It also implies that while instructor content is not computer generated, you don't necessarily need to meet real-time with the instructor. Click-a-Teacher is set up so that all types of communication and information exchanges can take place at your convenience. Classes may be computer generated, self-paced, or a simple chat session. This is up to the instructor.

14. What happens if I don't do well in the class?

Nothing. Many of the classes offered at Click-a-Teacher are classes that are used to share and exchange information of interest. Nothing beyond informing you about your classroom coursework is implemented.
